the guitar
Alright, so I am starting to get better at my guitar, and I am also realizing the power of knowing your chords more and more. My friend that was teaching me from the start was saying how I should just learn my chords, and I had a little song to practice my G, D, E, C chords. Now I have a new song to practice Bm, A, D, G, and F something. I was looking at some youtube videos on how to learn Blackbird, and I came across this kid Sungha Jung. This little 12 year old Korean kid is amazing. I was really impressed with him. Just check out how he plays blackbird…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCT9xnlhldM&feature=related
I ended up watching most of this little kid’s videos this weekend, instead of working on the website as much, he is an amazing guitarist. I also learned how to play blackbird almost all the way through. Working on the pentatonic scales too…Slowly but surely I will be good at guitar.  I was looking at some videos on chord progressions, and they were talking about major minor 7ths and major major 7ths, and all this terminology that I had no idea what was going on. I was thinking it might be a good idea to get on that, understand what they are talking about a little better. I think I need to have a picture of the notes of the guitar mapped out, so I can see things easier.
Anyways, thats all I have as far as my guitar update goes. Maybe soon I’ll post a video of me playing blackbird, once I have it down pat.
